Rent collection

Our tenants are given various options to pay their rent including automatic payment, & internet transfers.

Tenants are encouraged to pay rent in advance, either weekly or fortnightly. If they fail to do so and subsequently fall into arrears the following will apply:

• A 10 day notice of arrears letter is sent when rent is 1 day overdue reminding the tenant of their obligation to pay

• A SMS/TXT message is sent the same day reminding the tenant of their rent obligation and advising them of likely further action

• A Tenancy Tribunal Application is sent when the tenant is 8 days overdue

• Attendance at the Residential Tenancies Tribunal on your behalf to recover arrears and obtain an eviction

In between, phone calls and sms text messages are sent to the tenants.
